Why college education is important to me

Malcolm X, a civil rights activist, once said, “Without education, you are not going anywhere in this world.” Every year, millions of people throughout the world go to University. Getting a university education will help create so many paths and give a better life. Various kind of people go to university for different goals, ambitions and reasons. As for me, a university education is important to improve my chance of getting my dream job. I personally see university education as a good and solid investment, primarily because I will use all skills I get from the university for the rest of my life and according to Collegeboard, “The typical bachelor’s degree holder can expect to earn about 73 percent more over a 40-year working life than the typical high school graduate earns over the same time period “.

There are many other important benefits of university education, such as it will definitely help one to improve oneself and become a more prepared and marketable person for stepping out into this world.

Better education gives me the qualification to get better jobs and it increases my self-confidence. Our parent and teachers care about the quality of our education, and they patiently explain the importance of education. I feel, since I’m still young and have a lot of time, I really need to focus on my education so that I will have bright and shining future.

Finally, people have dreams of having a good career but only a few manage to achieve it. There are few things that make this happen. They tend to forget that they need a good education or they simply do not have enough motivation. I have dreams like everybody else. I want to be a manager at some major international companies and I believe business degrees can help me to secure this position that I cannot get only with a high school diploma. I also believe university education will also help me to build a circle of people who will eventually help me to achieve my dream job.

This year I start doing an online college for the first time in my life and I will do my best to graduate from Ashworth College with good score and gain as many experiences as I can. In the end, the college experience is my primary goal right now. Not only it is necessary to succeed for myself, but also it is important to teach my younger siblings the importance of higher and good quality education so that they can survive in this harsh world. The certificate degree without a doubt is strongly required if you decide to apply for a job but you should always remember that it’s not just a piece of paper or a paragraph on your resume; it is 100% pure knowledge.
